The Books Under the Sink - One library's journey with authentic Indigenous texts

Since the online BCTLA Conference 2020 we have been inspired to continue our journey towards authentic texts for our libraries.  Much to our surprisewe have also discoveredracism, positionalities, hegemonies, Indigenous “copyright”, and Pedagogy of Discomfort.  All of which began a book collection called “Under the Sink”.  Come listen to the story of one library’s uncomfortable journey to have authentic Indigenous texts.
