Library Learning Commons (LLC) are the heart of every school. Every child interacts with the space throughout their elementary and secondary education. This is a space where students should feel safe, welcome, included and represented. This space provides relevant resources for staff and students, to help foster an understanding around SOGI related topics. In the session, we will discuss strategies to ensure libraries are SOGI-inclusive, and safe spaces. We will discuss displays, shelving, access and share our favourite SOGI related resources.
