Teaching through inquiry allows teachers to tap into their students' natural curiosity and capitalize on their tendency to ask questions. In this way, inquiry provides students with greater investment in and ownership over their learning.
Many teachers see the value in using inquiry methods, but struggle with getting their students to ask meaningful questions that can guide their inquiry. TLs can become instructional leaders in their schools by demonstrating strategies for accessing prior knowledge and asking questions for their teachers and students. Participants in this workshop will leave with a toolbox of strategies they can implement into their practice immediately.
