  • Sarah Wethered

    Sarah was a teacher-librarian at New Westminster Secondary School for 20 years before taking leave to serve as New Westminster Teachers' Union president.  In the past, she served as Local Rep, Staff Rep, Pro-D Chair, Treasurer, and Vice President of the NWTU.  She has also served as chapter president of the New Westminster Teacher-Librarians' Association and Vice President of the BCTLA.  Currently, she serves as BCTLA recording secretary.  Sarah is also an online instructor in the Queen's University Teacher-Librarian Certificate program.  In 2020, Sarah was awarded the Angela Thacker Memorial Award for her outstanding contributions to teacher-librarianship, both provincially and nationally.
